Electrical Transition Joints

Explosive Welding is considered to be a solid state welding process that forces two or more metals together by a controlled detonation. The resultant composite system is joined with a high-quality metallurgical bond which ensures high strength and low electrical resistance. The electrical resistance of explosive bonded materials ( copper clad aluminum plate ) is equal to the sum of their components, which means that the explosion bond does not contribute any measurable additional electrical resistance.

Electrolysis & electroplating industry

Our Electrical Transition Joints are manufactured by explosion welding. Their high bonding strength and excellent electrical conductivity help to drive down the operating and maintenance costs in metal refining, power industry, chemical plant and other high current systems.
We also offer Electrical Transition Joints with interlayer metals (titanium, copper, copper clad aluminum plate etc.) to achieve higher strength, better high temperature resistance or other optimum performance.
